My house is eating things again. Today it ate my favorite bracelet. Of course it had to be my favorite, if it wasn't I wouldn't know it was gone. I remember wearing it yesterday, I remember taking it off and putting it away.

My house has done this before. A while back I had another favorite bracelet. It was a little big on my arm. I was wearing a sweater. It had slid over the sleeve of the sweater. I removed the sweater, the bracelet went flying. I heard it hit the wall. I tore the house apart. I went so far as to remove the baseboards. I've never found it. I thought I heard the house say..."diiiiiiiiinnnnnnner."

I have an inordinate amount of earrings. The trouble is I only have one of the pairs. I know the house eats them. I have them one day, I know I take them off, then they're gone. I could be trendy I guess, wear a different earring in each ear.

I won't even discuss the sock issue.

What do you do when you can't sleep? Usually I try to make up a story in my head but last night it didn't work and I found my self still staring at the clock at 3 am. I was so wide awake I could have conquered the world, or at least cleaned the entire house and then some. Now I'm sleepy and that's not a good thing for a Monday. Considering that I have to be awake no later than 5am tomorrow, to be somewhere at 6am...well according to my calculations I need to be in bed at about 2pm today....nope, don't think that's gonna happen.
