A draped effect I've admired at The Jewel Mines, I believe Moyra was the first to create this, and now at others. I marveled over it and here is my first attempt at creating this myself. It taught me how much can be done with the simpler filters, like the dropped shadow which is mostly what I used to create this effect, and how the mind's eye, creates the rest. *wink*
Of course you won't find drapes like this at my house, Buddy and Bogey prefer a more casual look. : )

I guess by now it's obvious I've become enamored with the mouseover effects, and yes it's true, I do think they are pretty marvelous. Just a few small touches can be so interesting. Run your mouse cursor over the images at your left.

This is a bit more complicated and you should have just a little knowledge of HTML and a bit of javascript won't hurt either. Remembering the frames set up, it's important always to make certain your visitors don't get stuck. Always place a target with any links you provide. Within your site it's target="_main" as this page is named main in the framesource code. To direct a visitor to a page outside of your frames the code is target="_top" Oh go on have fun with it and visit the Webmasters Reference for more detailed info on frames.

There are 4 "essential" buttons at the side frame. Your visitors can always access your home page, the site map and new info and could always contact you either by guestbook or email from the side frame. Additional buttons can be placed on this page, with mouseover effects if you'd like, to direct your visitors toward specific areas that you can identify. I have provided some for you that do include mouseover effects. The zip file also includes a blank button and a blank mouseover effect button which you can duplicate and customize.

How do you have your visitors email you and sign your guestbook via one button? Simple, create a page called contact.html. Place a link to your guestbook and an email link on that page and you're good to go.

If you are interested in using this there is a zip file available with all the images and also the coding for the mouseovers. Wherever you see a pound sign there is a page link there. You can either just remove the pound sign and name your pages what I have there or place your own page names in place of the ones I have provided. I have provided some of the buttons here, just for a visual, however they are also included in the zip file.
