I managed to get my nails done. Thankfully. A nice french manicure which will turn yellow in a few days, well at least the two fingers of my right hand that hold my cigarette will. Yup that's attractive.

And while I was waiting, (I was early! oddly enough) and standing outside (like a Leper) having a smoke, I watched a scene that really made me smile.

An older man, perhaps in his 60's, on this gloriously beautiful sunny day, was walking his pooch. He was across the street, I watched mesmerized. He was a very big man, tall, and walking quietly beside him was a Westie, so small compared to this man. So sweet it was to see, this large man bending down, as the dog stopped, to carefully, gently, unwrap the leash that had gotten tangled around the dog's leg and then to stroke him gently and coo at him. It was so touching. ;-). I know I would like that man a lot. ;-)

I had a name all picked out for my blogger. A new name, it's own residence, and whack........the darn thing's taken. And.....it was only registered on April 12th this year. No site up yet, hmmm, think they wanna sell it?

I don't have a webcam, I want one. The thing is my 'puter is in my bedroom. My luck I'd forget to shut off the darn thing.

Nothing wrong with more info, cuz, I Love You

On a lighter note, it wasn't meetings that distracted me today but shopping. What a great distraction. I'm on the committee responsible for our department's celebration of nurses week. We sure don't have a lot of money to spend, and were having a tough time coming up with something nice, so someone (Maggie) suggested the Mikasa warehouse in Secaucus. So I piled a few of the other managers into my truck and off we went. Well, 3 hours later, we arrived back, with our administrator giving us a rather skeptical look and speculating on whether we decided to go to Atlantic City. But we had gifts for all the staff (80) and really nice little baubles they are. 3 hours, not wasted, fun. :-)

I'm tired today. I didn't even spend too much time here last evening. I just have too much work to do and not enough time. Meetings....more often than not just a waste of a good two hours. I took some work home with me, did a little, and then after being plagued by incessant phone calls, decided to give up the fight.

I need a hair cut, I need to get my nails done, I'm thinking already that on Saturday, I just want to be a vegetable and not do anything. I don't think my friends and coworkers can stand one more week of me and the ponytail though. ;-) .........Why is it called a ponytail anywho? My head does NOT look like a horses ass.

Yeah I'm a little stressed, the first week of the month is always tough. You'd think I'd be used to it by now. Please don't let me have one more useless meeting today.............pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease.

Darn.........I'm out of cream for my coffee. pffffffffffft, this day's down the tubes already.

I had such a brain fart this morning. Woke up thinking it was Saturday and shut off my alarm. Lucky that I realized the truth before I went to the deep sleep world again.

Just because I should be leaving for work I couldn't help but wander over to Emode and take the color test. Here's the deal....

On a lighter note it's Tuesday, which is one day closer to Friday. ;-) Wednesdays are one of my favorite days..."over the hump day, you know." Then of course there are Fridays~sweet bliss day, the beginning, so much to look forward to. ;-)

I just had to share this next item with you..I'm hoping it will work for you, you will need a Windows Media Player, and Bill probably made sure you have one if you are surfing in MSIE. In Netscape, unfortunately it takes a while to load. It's worth it. A coworker sent this to me today...I really did some work tho, honest...and I laughed so hard I was crying like a baby. May 1st!! Wow....where'd the year go? Not that I'm not happy 'cuz it means the really hot weather will be here soon and I love the really hot weather. But then it will be gone so fast bringing the really cold weather and I hate the really cold weather. Well there went the year, nothing like wishing your life away. ;-)
