Your desk - Cherrywood from the far east, Your deskset - inlaid with burl wood and finished off with a leather-look (no animals were harmed in the creation of this set) gilded edged border. This is the essence of a well dressed desktop.
This set has some essential links to your left. It's possibilities are varied and additional links can be added to the base image as well
as to the other side and/or top image. The zip file, however contains blank images with no text added so you can configure this to your own specifications.
Created in a framed environment your desktop stays static and your links are always available to your visitors if you do choose to place them on the borders.
This is certainly appropriate for a bookish site, a site of someone who is an aficionado and who loves the smell of aged paper, the bindery, the ink and who is always seeking out the most interesting and obscure readings.
Due to the ornate nature of this set I did not create any buttons.
I think that textual links inside this window will look best. I did however create some small embellishments, a bullet or two to add a little accent to this text area.
There are actually two versions of this set. I like them both equally which is why I decided to post them both. It may depend on your own likes and dislikes or your mood at the time. This is the highly embellished set with golden accents all around the border. There is a set which is a bit more conservative, less ornate and you can view that here. It will open a new window which you can close to return here.
Remember that any links that should stay within your site and these frames should be coded as target="bodymain" where "bodymain" refers to this area of the set. For links to pages outside of these frames or outside of your site target="_top" will provide a full page view or target="_blank" will open a new window.

Please download this to your hard drive and then upload to your server. Please do NOT link to mine.
You are required to link any images taken here to http://www.pointoffocus.com on each page my graphics are used preferrably with the image below.
You can download the zip file for both "looks" here. It includes the blank jpegs and all of the HTML documents that you will need. There are a total of 10 documents. 9 of them define each frame and the tenth, the Frameset directs your browser on how to apply them.
Below you will find examples of some of the graphic images included in the zip file for use as navigational elements and as accents.
